This gorgeous girl is Louie’s daughter - see his portrait next in this gallery. Lacey’s family and I were lucky to have some handy Russian Sage in bloom to make a nice backdrop for this sweet and funny girl.

Louis is a purebred Poodle whose illustrious stud career has produced many beautiful puppies. He’s a bit older now and ready to retire, but he’s still the handsome and friendly guy he’s always been.

Mocha is what’s called a “tripod” dog, having lost her right front leg for medical reasons. But that hasn’t stopped her from being a happy girl who looks so elegant and beautiful in her harness designed by Ruffwear, a sponsor of Summit Dog Rescue.
